£6 for a reasonably tasty cake and £4 for a pod coffee is steep, and there's no view whatsoever.

We kwamen voor ontbijt, bleek niet mogelijk op zondag. Dit heb ik nergens kunnen lezen, openingstijden zijn wel vanaf 8.00 uur. Niet heel vriendelijk personeel.

The owner was so kind and made us feel right at home. We now have a new friend in Strachur. The food was wonderful and service was promt. The store had a bit of everything you might need while visiting the area.

Cake and drinks purchased here and enjoyed in the garden. We were served (I think) by mum, dad and young daughter who were really friendly to us and our dogs. Independent local family run business trying to make a go of things, not a chain. Some of the reviews on here should give them a break.

Don't really like to talk down a small business but the prices here were really expensive. Pancakes with bacon was £13. We asked for just pancakes for our 6 year old and we got three v.small ones with a pot of jam: £8. Sat looking into the village shop, we wished we'd just got a bag of crisps and pushed on another hour to our destination.

Prices too high. Service was disgusting. Coffee was spilt in saucer and served by waiter who was touching rim of cups….hygiene zero. Food was horrible. Previous 2 owners of this establishment did a much better job. I will not be returning and would not recommend to anyone. I would give zero stars for everything.

Underrated look but very homely and pleasant. Homemade chocolate cake was one of the best ones I’ve ever had.

Absolutely disgusting food. “Steak burger” can only be described as dog food in a dry bun for £7 along with soup which was inedible and scone that tasted like fish? Place was grotty and chocolate bar had mould on. Prices were horrific.

£12 for a sausage and egg roll and a ham sandwich that consisted of stale bread and one slice of fatty ham, plus one juice. Highway holiday robbery and incredibly disappointing. Typical Scottish tourist trap shenanigans but even more dire than usual!

Stopped off for coffee and cake. The cakes were delicious and staff really friendly. There were 3 or 4 parking spaces outside and its dog friendly. Would definitely pop in if passing through again.
